Professional Background
I've been in the beauty industry for right around five years now. I was in full service for 3 1/2 of those years and loved every second of it and met some wonderful clients that I still keep in touch with. However, when my home away from home, the place that made me fall in love with my career, closed up shop suddenly, I found myself scrambling to find a replacement. I knew in my heart I would never find another place like that, so I decided to try my hand at barbering. I still love doing women's hair, and especially love styling for special events.

After my hair started growing back post-chemo, I was incredibly nervous about getting it cut. I've known Kayla since 2003 and she's truly the only person I fully and completely trust with my hair. I'll get trims here and there, but when I'm ready for a major cut, I always wait until I can get back up to Wisconsin so Kayla can do it. She is talented, charismatic, and incredibly professional.
